Under the supervision of the head of the development area and in collaboration with the various departments of the company, the GIS,Environmental & Permitting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental and territorial regulations, proactively and accurately managing each stage of the authorisation processes for our projects.

Under the supervision of the head of the development area and in collaboration with the various departments of the company, the GIS,Environmental & Permitting Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental and territorial regulations, proactively and accurately managing each stage of the authorisation processes for our projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- In-depth knowledge of, and continuous updates on, Italian regulations related to environmental assessments and authorisation procedures for RES plants, with a specific focus on agrivoltaic and BESS projects.
- Proven experience in constraint analysis and feasibility studies.
- Strong knowledge and ability to supervise Environmental Impact Studies, feasibility studies, and environmental due diligence activities for agrivoltaic and BESS projects.
- Expertise in managing permitting and authorisation processes for RES plants, including EIA, PAUR, AU, and PAS.
- Expertise in analysing territorial and urban planning instruments (national, regional, provincial, municipal, sectoral plans, constraints, and protection regimes).
- Familiarity with permitting and authorisation procedures (e.g. preliminary verification of archaeological interest, landscape authorisations, etc.).
- Conduct site visits to project locations for the preliminary identification of potential environmental criticalities during the development phase.
- Manage meetings with co-developers, external engineering advisors, and authorities during the permitting phase.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to ensure effective integration of environmental practices at all stages of the project lifecycle.
